This tour provides you the opportunity to experience the wildlife and traditional life of the Tharu people who are the major inhabitant of Chitwan. Chitwan lies 170 km away from the capital. Chitwan is considered as a home for many rare species of plants and animals. The area is popular for its Natural Beauty, One Horned Rhino and other safari activities such as: Elephant Ride, Canoe Ride, Bird Watching, Jungle walk etc. Besides this the Tharu Cultural dance as well as a visit to the Tharu village is also a popular activity. This tour offers you the chance to explore the jungle on the top of an elephant from which you can get a glimpse of the wild animals in their natural habitat. Deers, wild cock, crocodile, gharial, various birds and rhino are the animals most likely to be seen. The package also provides an opportunity to observe the Tharu Cultural dance program or the slide presentation. Both these activities can be a better way to know more about the people and culture. The tour also offers the bird watching activity, our guide will help you spot identify the different varieties of birds, both local and migratory, that are found in Nepal. Furthermore, you will be taken to the elephant-breeding center and learn about the efforts to increase the population and get to see several elephants and their calves. Those visitors who are who want to experience the adventure a jeep drive by hoodless jeeps can be a good measure. Through the open jeeps, visitors can catch glimpses of rare wild flora and fauna. A canoe ride on the river of the lower Nepal can be a lifetime experience. Arrive at the Resort. Upon arrival there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities and the rooms will be assigned.
At 1:00 O’clock Lunch is served
3:00 PM: Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours.
7:00 PM: Zlide presentation. One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

Tharu Ztick dance: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.
8:00 PM: Dinner at the central dining hall.
5:30 AM: Bird Watching: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee and proceed for bird watching. Out of 519 species of the birds we have recorded 276 species in our area. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds.
8:30 AM: Breakfast at the resort.
9:30 AM: Elephant briefing/Bathing programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables. (Note: Elephant bathing is done during summer season as elephant loves to bathe in the river willingly. Elephants are not forced to take bath during the cold season/day).
1:00 PM: Lunch at the dining hall
3:30 PM: Jeep Zafari & Canoeing (subject to weather conditions): Drive by Land Rover to Kasara, the head quarter of The Chitwan National Park to see the Gharial (Alligator) hatchery project, founded by Frankfurt Zoological Zociety. After a short briefing about the project & visit, drive to the oxbow lakes (Lami Tal & Tamar Tal) by Land Rover through dense sal forest to encounter various plants and other wildlife.
the drive come down to the Rapti river at canoeing put in point. Ztart canoeing in a traditional dug-out canoe which takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds, crocodiles and the animals of the river banks.
(Note: Jeep Zafari is prohibited during monsoon season by the park authorities from June-Zeptember and in some season it can prolong till October)

5:30 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee and then proceed for the Village visit. Our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and their lifestyle.

9.30 AM: Departure to your following destination.
The actual program for your stay with us will be given to you on arrival at Resort. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by our expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures and we request you to respect their judgment at all times. If you wish to stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety.
