If you’ve always been curious about scuba diving but aren’t ready to commit to a full certification course, the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is the perfect introduction. Designed especially for beginners, this experience lets you explore the fascinating underwater world without any prior diving experience.

Set in the scenic rivers of Pokhara at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, this unique dive offers an unforgettable adventure in a truly special location. The half-day trip lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours and is operated during the best seasons—February to April and September to November.

Pokhara’s river conditions are ideal for beginners, with a constant water temperature of 27–28°C (80–82°F) and excellent underwater visibility. During the dive, you can descend to a maximum depth of 30 feet, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience under the close supervision of a certified PADI Instructor.

There’s no classroom learning, no swimming pool sessions, and absolutely no exams. Before entering the water, your instructor will give a short but thorough briefing covering the dive site, basic safety rules, how the equipment works, and what you can expect to see underwater.

Whether you’re testing the waters before starting a PADI course or simply looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, Discover Scuba Diving in Pokhara promises excitement, safety, and unforgettable memories beneath the surface.
