If you’ve never tried scuba diving before, or want to find out if you like scuba diving before starting the PADI certification course, then the Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is for you.You will be introduced to the amazing underwater world in river of pokhara at 800 mt. above sea level. We conduct the Discover Scuba Diving half day trip (3 to 4 hours trip) from February to April and September to November time of the year, as we are lucky to have a constant water temperature between 27 – 28 Degrees Celsius (80 -82 Fahrenheit) and fantastic underwater visibility. The maximum depth of the underwater diving will be 30 ft.
There’s NO classroom work involved, NO swimming pool tests and definitely NO exams- your PADI Instructor will give you a short briefing on the on the Pokhara river dive site and cover important safety aspects, how the equipment works and what to expect to see under the water during the trip on the river. All you need to do is relax and have fun! Here at dragon fly adventures we make safety and fun for you our main priorities, so with the Discover Scuba Diving program the maximum group size will be four divers with one PADI instructor.If you would like a more personal experience then we offer a Private Instructor option for the half day – where it would be just yourself and one PADI instructor on all dives.We come and collect you from your hotel lobby for your respective dive session and return you back accordingly everything you will need for the dive trip is provided. All you need to bring along is a towel and swimwear.(Please note on the dive trip into the depth of river will be the instructor’s decision upon conditions and the divers ability)

07:30 AM Transfer to dive site from hotel.
08.00 AM Reach the river dive site where your PADI Instructor will be waiting for you.
08.15 AM Your Instructor will give you a short dive briefing.
08.30 AM Your Instructor will help you put on the equipment before jumping in the water for your first training dive of the trip and the training begins.
09.15 AM Once the training is complete and you are comfortable with the equipment and water you will be provided with refreshment.
09.30 AM On instructor decision you will be taken for the first dive into the depth of the river to explore the underwater world. The maximum depth is 30ft.
10.15 AM When you arrive back from your dive a refreshment will be waiting for you.
10.30 AM 2nd dive of the trip will be done for another forty five minutes.
11.15 PM Back onboard and time to reflect on the diving with your Instructor.
11.30 PM Transfer back to your hotel.
AFTERNOON DIVE:
12:00 PM Transfer to dive site from hotel.
12.30 PM You have to reach the river dive site where your PADI Instructor will be waiting for you.
12.45 AM Your Instructor will give you a short dive briefing.
01.00 PM Your Instructor will help you put on the equipment before jumping in the water for your first training dive of the trip and the training begins.
01.45 AM Once the training is complete and you are comfortable with the equipment and water you will be provided with refreshment.
02.00 AM On instructor decision you will be taken into the depth of the river to explore the underwater world. The maximum depth is 30ft.
02.45 AM When you arrive back from your dive a refreshment will be waiting for you.
03.00 AM 2nd dive of the trip will be done for another half an hour.
03.45 PM Back onboard and time to reflect on the diving with your Instructor.
04.00 PM Transfer back to your hotel.
