Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will receive a warm traditional welcome from our office representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Dhulikhel is a charming and historic Newari town known for its peaceful environment, traditional architecture, and spectacular Himalayan views. Situated along the Arniko Highway (Kathmandu–Kodari Highway), it is one of the best and most accessible viewpoints near Kathmandu Valley.
Unlike many tourist-only hill stations, Dhulikhel retains its authentic local character, making it ideal for travelers seeking both culture and nature.

After breakfast, set out for a scenic hike to Namobuddha, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal.
The hike from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha takes approximately 2 hours and is considered easy to moderate, suitable for most fitness levels. The trail passes through beautiful countryside, terraced farmlands, and traditional villages such as Kavre (Kawe) and Phulbari, offering an excellent opportunity to observe rural Nepalese life and local culture.
Upon reaching Namobuddha, you will visit the peaceful Namobuddha Monastery and Stupa, a revered site for Buddhist devotees from around the world. The hilltop location provides a serene atmosphere along with lovely views of the surrounding valleys and hills.
Namobuddha holds deep spiritual significance. According to Buddhist legend, a young prince (believed to be a previous incarnation of Lord Buddha) encountered a starving tigress and her cubs here. Out of great compassion, he offered his own body to save them. This powerful story symbolizes selflessness and the ultimate act of kindness, making Namobuddha an important place of pilgrimage and meditation.
You may also see a stone tablet and shrine commemorating this ancient tale.
Spend time exploring the monastery, observing the monks’ daily rituals, and enjoying the tranquil surroundings before returning to Dhulikhel.
