Often referred to as the Alpine crown of Europe, Switzerland is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world. While Switzerland holidays are popularly associated with mountaineering and skiing, the country’s natural diversity is so striking that snow-capped mountains and palm-lined landscapes can be found within close proximity. Visitors can explore serene countryside trails immersed in nature and, just as easily, experience buzzing cities with a vibrant nightlife.
Switzerland is also culturally diverse, with German, French, Italian, and Romansh influences shaping its language, traditions, and way of life. This diversity is reflected in its cuisine as well. Swiss chocolate is world-famous, and almost every visitor leaves the country carrying a few packets of this irresistible delicacy. In addition, Switzerland is renowned as a global financial hub, with Swiss banks internationally respected for their security and reliability.
