  • Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu
  • Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our office representatives and transferred to your hotel.

    Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and acclimatizing to the vibrant city atmosphere.

  • Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing
  • After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s cultural landmarks, including Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple).

    The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing time for shopping, relaxation, or exploring the city at your own pace.

  • Day 03 Lukla (2845m / 8700ft) and Phakding (2610m / 8562ft)
  • Take an early morning flight from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla (2,804 m). The scenic flight takes approximately 30 minutes, offering stunning views of the Himalayas.

    Upon arrival, your guides will brief you about the trek and introduce your porters. The trek begins on a well-marked trail, starting with an easy walk through Chaurikharka Village and descending to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530 m / 8,300 ft).

    Follow the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several hanging bridges, until reaching Phakding (2,652 m / 8,700 ft). Here, you will stay overnight at a lodge, allowing time to rest and acclimatize for the days ahead.

  • Day 04 Namche Bazaar (3440m / 11286ft)
  • After breakfast at your lodge in Phakding, begin the trek to Namche Bazaar, which typically takes 6–7 hours. This well-traveled trail is lively, with frequent encounters with local villagers, fellow trekkers, and yak and porter traffic.

    From Phakding, cross the Dudh Koshi River and continue through a beautiful pine forest to reach Monjo. At the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, pause for a permit check before descending again to the Dudh Koshi River en route to Jorsale. The final section is a steep climb to Namche Bazaar, offering a potential first glimpse of Mount Everest on clear days.

    Namche Bazaar is the main trading hub of the Khumbu region, known for its bustling Saturday market, where Hindu traders from the lowlands meet Tibetan yak caravans that have crossed the glaciated Nangpa La Pass.

  • Day 05 REST DAY at Namche Bazaar
  • After breakfast at your lodge in Namche Bazaar, spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude. Optional short treks to the nearby villages of Thame and Khumjung help you adjust to the thinner air while offering a glimpse into local Sherpa culture.

    Alternatively, hike up to Syangboche Airport near the Everest View Hotel. From this vantage point, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including sunrise and sunset over the Khumbu peaks, making it a perfect spot for photography and mountain appreciation.

  • Day 06 Tengboche (3,870m/12694ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Namche Bazaar, begin the trek to Tengboche, which takes approximately 6–7 hours. The trail follows the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Koshi River, gradually revealing majestic mountains such as Thamserku, Kantega, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Everest.

    Pass through several villages and tea shops before descending to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga, where you stop for lunch and a short rest. The final section is a steep climb to Tengboche, with beautiful sights of forests, rhododendron bushes, birds, mani walls, chortens, suspension bridges, and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

    Upon arrival at Tengboche, visit the famous monastery, home to a 20-foot statue of Buddha, and soak in the stunning mountain panorama.

  • Day 07 Dingboche (4360m/14300ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Tengboche, begin the trek through rhododendron forests, birches, and conifers to the small village of Deboche, crossing a suspension bridge over the roaring Imja Khola River.

    The trek to Dingboche takes approximately 6–7 hours, passing through the valley wall and plains leading to Pangboche village. Here, explore the chortens and Mani walls, while enjoying panoramic views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam.

    From Pangboche, continue to the village of Pheriche, ascending the last steep climb of the day to reach Dingboche, the only village in the region where barley is cultivated, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery.

  • Day 08 Rest day at Dingboche
  • Today is a rest day at Dingboche to help your body acclimatize to the high altitude. You have the option to take a short hike to Chhukung village via the Imja Khola Valley.

    On the way, you will pass Yak Kharka, a wide grassland area, and enjoy stunning views of surrounding high mountains and glacier lakes. Chhukung is a small summer settlement, ideal for a gentle trek to prepare for higher altitudes.

  • Day 09 Lobuche (2930m/16174ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Dingboche, begin the trek to Lobuche, which takes approximately 6 hours. The trail heads early toward Dughla through the Khumbu Khola Valley, offering a chance to admire Chola Lake and the breathtaking view of Mt. Pumori.

    At Dughla, scale the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to reach Dughla Pass (4,830 m). Here, visit the memorial stupas and prayer flags, dedicated to climbers and trekkers who lost their lives on Mount Everest.

    Enjoy views of surrounding peaks including Pumori, Mahalangur Himal, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and Lingtren. After crossing the Khumbu Glacier, continue gently uphill to Lobuche, preparing for a cold night in the lodge.

  • Day 10 Kalapathar (5545m/18192ft) via Gorakshep (5165m/16945ft) and back to Gorakshep
  • Following the Khumbu Glacier, trek toward Kala Patthar, one of the most challenging yet rewarding sections of the Everest Base Camp trek. The trail can be rough and icy in places but offers mesmerizing views of surrounding peaks, especially where the path rises to cross tributary glaciers.

    Stop for lunch at Gorak Shep, our camping spot, before tackling the 3-hour climb to Kala Patthar (5,545 m / 18,192 ft) in the afternoon. From this vantage point, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest (8,848 m / 29,028 ft) and the surrounding giants, including Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, and Lhotse.

    After soaking in the spectacular mountain scenery at the summit, descend back to Gorak Shep, an easier walk compared to the climb up.

  • Day 12 Everest Base Camp (5357m/17575ft) and back to Lobuche
  • A very early start is required to reach Everest Base Camp, so enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge in Gorak Shep before beginning your trek. The trail weaves through ice pinnacles and past the crevasses of the Khumbu Glacier. As the path is narrow and rocky, trekkers should focus carefully on each step.

    Along the way, enjoy views of the north ridge of Mount Everest as well as Mount Mahalangur, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Pumori, and Nuptse. A short climb ahead offers a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

    Continue through the Changri Glacier and a glacial rock trail to reach the Everest Base Camp, where you can take time to appreciate Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks.

    On the return trek, take a higher route for an even more alluring view of the Khumbu Icefall and the route to the South Col. Descend back to Lobuche, where you will spend the night at a lodge.

  • Day 13 Trek To Pangboche (3985m/13074ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Lobuche, begin the downhill trek, retracing your steps to Dughla and continuing to Pheriche. Stop at the Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA), a trekkers’ aid post that is well worth visiting.

    After lunch, cross the Khumbu Khola River via a wooden suspension bridge and follow the Imja Khola River toward the village of Pangboche.

  • Day 14 Trek To Namche Bazaar (3438m/11280ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Pangboche, continue the trek toward Namche Bazaar. Cross the river and climb through birch and rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of Himalayan giants including Kwangde, Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, and Thamserku.

    From Tengboche, descend to the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. At Phunki Tenga, observe the water-driven prayer wheels before continuing your trek back to Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 15 Trek To Lukla (2651m/8700ft)
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Namche Bazaar, begin the descent through the Dudh Koshi Valley all the way to Lukla.

    The final evening is dedicated to celebration with your Sherpa guides and porters. Enjoy the local beer “chang”, dance, and conclude your unforgettable trek on a cheerful note.

  • Day 16 Flight Back To Kathmandu
  • After breakfast at the lodge in Lukla, pack up and head to the airstrip for your flight back to Kathmandu.
